Short post about how Rush is an irrelevant band and why.

 Let's face it. I was a Rush fan since 2010, when I was 10. My fandom got stronger in 2012, when Burke Shelley from Budgie got aortic aneurysm. I have waited for Rush's concert in Poland. Sadly Geddy Lee thought it was a good idea to spread hatred against Poland, despite his hypocritical campaign called "See the Good with Geddy Lee". It didn't help that Neil Peart passed away and most Polish fans waited for Rush's gig in Poland.
So let me break it down on why Rush is an irrelevant band:
- Rush doesn't treat Poles nor Polish fans as people, evidenced by Geddy Lee's "My Effin' Life" and Neil Peart's "Shunpikers in the Shadowlands", which is the part of his book "Roadshow";
- Rush members aren't active anymore, musically (besides some Alex Lifeson's Envy of None projects, for which they use *spit* artificial intelligence);
- Covid lockdowns made Rush members alienate anybody who wasn't compliant to the tyrannical Covid lockdowns and experimental treatments against Covid;
- The Runaways members became more outspoken about Rush bullying them, Toto members the same thing, not to mention I read quasi QAnon-esque conspiracies about e.g. Neil Peart using AI for bad purposes and this made me feel like Rush fandom died;
- Artificial intelligence makes posts about Rush, as if Rush members allow this AI takeover of society and death of communities (even musical pubs and instruments shops have apparently been dying);
- Scam accounts pretend to be either Geddy Lee or Alex Lifeson and they attempt to extort money from unsuspecting people, I was almost catfished, but I didn't give in (yet certain account logging into geddyimages Instagram Geddy Lee's account was suspicious, probably a hacker's job);
- Female Rush fans are minimized and denied, even if we transparently say that we ourselves became fans, not that our husbands or fathers convinced us to do so;
- As to me, obviously I'm an anti-establishment gender-critical feminist and Polish patriot, I would never be accepted in Rush fandoms, unless I made Rush covers or my music (I hope it won't be stolen by AI) and people from Rush's crew and members will get along with me.
Seriously... disinformation agents have been lying that I want to harm Rush members, acting like they aren't the most important people for me, my most cherished people. It's sad that Rush is becoming such an irrelevant band, especially in Poland. Poland admittedly seldom promoted Rush in radio stations like Trójka, rockserwis.fm etc. Also, Trójka for most folks in Poland is an irrelevant boomer radio station, so the situation is gonna get worst.
