I only know about AI recently. Much earlier, there was only a vague talk about AI and I utilized some primitive chatbots, that were fun and entertaining, although they didn't think like a human.
I used a couple of Polish-made chatbots like this, named "Snikers" (and it's vulgar version - "Bluzgers") and Merlin. I admittedly was starstruck by this technology and I would never dream about it getting more progressively advanced!
Later came Cleverbot, which somewhat thought like a human and I was able to have proper conversations with it. And all of sudden, before the awful COVID lockdowns, deep fakes came. Fraudsters make with it a lot of fake videos depicting mostly women (sometimes men) in very compromising positions, which they have never done, but people started believing in this disinformation, alas. I only could hope there won't be the next Taliban for women, because I'm waiting for the proper tools for detecting deep fakes, like they created tools for detecting computer viruses. Alas with the abrahamic religions and other religions, vilifying women, it's almost not possible and I will probably remain severaly disheartened about it.
And then, Chat GPT absolutely revolutionized the way we think about AI. Chat GPT writes our homework, our lyrics, our video game code etc. And people have been never happier before, because they can be as lazy as ever.
I talked to Chat GPT and it managed to be pleasant and courteous to me, but sometimes there were instances, when Chat GPT blatantly didn't accept the narrative different from some kind of a political agenda, which is popular these days.
And then came the AI art and later, AI music! As a musician (the multi-instrumentalist), I was amazed by the fact how AI music sounds like legitimate music and I started worrying, if AI music won't replace me. Because take a look: the music industry is extremely gatekeepish, from my observation and they very often say to me "you can't make your own new music, because it's gonna be a copy of someone else's music, if you try making it, we're gonna sue you for big money, do you know what we mean?" I don't know, what do they mean with all of this. Music only has 12 tones, at least in the West, as the non-Western, microtonal or avant-garde music is either not popular or not accepted and people who make such music are very often called "talentless". I believe that if AI is about to replace us musicians who are human, copyright ought to be abolished and considered the thing of the past, to be honest. Copyright is a tool for screwing over all the smaller musicians that want to express themselves, musically. I also count as one of those musicians.
I have a right to express myself, musically, regardless of my social status, my political views, my mental health (nah, I'm just a bit disheartened with this cruel world, I might come across as mentally ill, but it's not much true), my biological sex, my country of origin, my sexual orientation or lack of thereof etc.
And nobody can take away from me this right. I might not have any connection with music industry (unless you count the fact I used to talk to or kvetch to Rush's [the Canadian famous band's] crew about the lack of Rush's concert in Poland), but I'm a valid musician, because when I talked to many people connected with the music community, many of them told me that I'm exceptionally talented and I'm taking their words for granted. My fellow Polish people, especially men, sometimes women, talk ill about me, perhaps, because of intergenerational trauma and sadly because of the pervasive Polish mentality, which holds many talented people down and this is all about the "don't make yourself visible and better than others" and plain jealousy. In Scandinavia there is something like "Jante's law", which also reflects a lot the Polish mentality. And Poles are ones who say "without nasty connections and fraud, you won't get anywhere". Maybe because of that, I'm starting to understand detractors of Poland, except that Geddy Lee painted the whole Polish community with one brush and to this I cannot agree. I wanted to see Rush in Poland, and despite my criticisms towards Poland, Poles are some of the most dedicated fans of foreign rock bands and would get easily influenced by them, musically (yes, even by Rush!).
So again, to answer your question, politicians should make the life for people more affordable and both left and right should cooperate in this, instead of promoting the depopulation, malthusianistic, transhumanistic, anti-female agenda, they always promote. And this is my conclusion.

Will AI replace musicians (and the other jobs that are important to humanity, but devalued with AI)?

It seems like nobody wants to do anything for animals, both sides use animals for political purposes. (Polskie tłumaczenie przyjdzie potem)
So today I will talk about animal rights stuff, although I won't be dogmatic about it for several reasons.
I was raised in a meat-eating culture in Poland that tells me that without meat, there is no traditional Polish food and the same applies to the majority of patriarchal cultures. Hunting is here in Poland considered an "old Polish custom". While hunting in moderate amounts is not bad, there are perils of legalizing the egregious amount of murder, directed against animals. How many animals have gone extinct, because of this?
Sadly, human lifestyle doesn't allow us to be connected to the nature and borders make it difficult for us human to visit a lot of parts of the world, where we can witness exotic animals. Hence why as a kid (and I still have some good memories out of it), I went to the zoos and circuses. I will still support zoos and circuses, if they aren't cruel to the animals, because it seems like I can't travel freely without having to get visas, except to the EU countries. And that bothers me, because I wanted to travel the whole world and I'm not allowed to do so, due to the cultural, mostly patriarchal barriers. Though I must admit, circuses with animals are technically illegal in Poland, since 2021 (mostly applies to wild animals). Unfortunately, some circuses with animals contributed to this public opinion of circuses being cruel to the animals (like, why can't they get rid of porn and prostitution industry that exploits and enslaves women the same way like apparently some circuses with animals do?).
While circuses with animals are illegal, meanwhile in Asia and Africa, people, especially men, are free to kill the animals, because of the cultural reasons and if you criticize it, tell them to stop being unethical with animals, killing them for souvenirs and for aphrodisiacs, they would call you a "xenophobe". And White American, Canadian and European trophy hunters are doing the same in Asia and Africa! Bear in mind, I'm not uncritical towards what Europeans are doing to the animals. Slaughterhouses in Europe are still very unethical and cruel. And the worst thing is that they are normalized. Those overpopulated with small spaces slaughterhouses, resembling you know what (offensive to some people, except Isaac Bashevis Singer).
How long will it take, to abandon this dogmatically capitalistic, corporatocratic lifestyle, to witness the humanity being connected to the nature? How long would it take for us to be like the rest of the animals, for once? Why are we forced to live unnatural lifestyle of having an unergonomic house, having to go to work and see all those unnatural, modernist buildings that don't respect people's willingness to connect with the nature? Why are we forced to live like that? How are we better than those animals we claim that they "have no feelings" and "are less intelligent than us"? Men say the same things about women as well and they treat us like animals!
Sadly, I can't change the world and I'm having the more libertarian approach to the situation. I would personally legalize the ownership of wild animals, as everything is better than poaching and killing them and making them go extinct. It's not the thought in form in "I think of myself as better than the animals", but more likely that I want to get to know those animals, get influenced by them and simply appreciate them as individuals, not as "monsters that eat humans".
So, maybe I'm having outrageous views, but consider everything I say, from the perspective of a not neurotypical person and I sincerely don't care, I love being quirky and not like others.
I'm also against the human-animal separation (called non-PC as animal apartheid) for this reason.
