My real story of being a Polish Rush fan who was subjected to worst cybertrolling ever - when I revenged against my perpetrators, suddenly I was framed as a problem:
- Be a Polish Rush fan;
- Form a Polish Rush fanbase group;
- Be painfully aware that Poland is "not a best place for Rush fanbase";
- Cry all night, because of it;
- Be mobbed by a bunch of trolls who hate Poland, because of antisemitism allegations - acting like the want to prevent Polish Rush fans from seeing Rush in Poland, EVER;
- Read about Trójka the Polish Radio listeners' allegations of Geddy Lee fearing to perform in Poland because he thinks Poles are hostile against him;
- Try finding more evidence for it;
- You are angry at gossipers from Poland;
- You remember being mobbed by trolls who legit hated you for being Polish;
- 2015, Neil Peart retires;
- Cry even more, as you know you will seldom see Rush in Poland;
- 2020, Neil Peart dies;
- Cry even more, as it's 100% certain Polish Rush fans will NEVER see Rush in Poland;
- Be mobbed by trolls even further, as they know Neil Peart passed away and Poles will never see Rush in Poland;
- Listen to the song "Ghost of a Chance" and feel inspired by it;
- You start looking for means to contact Rush's promotors, crew, management;
- You befriend them;
- They are nice, but they say things, Trójka Radio listeners were gossiping about;
- You start crying, as you know that Poland is not a welcomed country in mainstream Rush fanbases;
- But there is still "a ghost of a chance";
- Geddy and Alex talked about missing Rush live performances, especially Geddy did talk about it;
- You still have the hope;
- Covid lockdowns (since 2020), getting cyberbullied by randoms, because you are isolated;
- Find solace in talking to Rush's crew, management, promotors, fanbase and... fake Geddy Lee/Alex Lifeson accounts;
- Some of them want to scam you for 200$;
- One of Geddy Lee's fake accounts starts apparently doing what looked like logging into real IG account;
- Talk to Rush's crew about it;
- They say to "stop engaging with them", even though I couldn't believe my eyes, it looked like this celebrity's account got compromised or something;
- I was angry, I started talking about hacker/AI problem, further proving my points that AI IS DANGEROUS TO US ALL!;
- Nobody cared nor listened, because everybody in Rush fanbase is enamored by AI (which confirms everything I read about from a Denver woman, that Rush loves AI and wrote songs about it);
- Then, I saw once again, Rush-The Runaways feud and started getting angry;
- This was the moment, when I started reminiscing about the fact that Rush fanbase told Polish jokes and disrespected me, because I was a woman from Poland;
- So... this unfortunate meeting with Neil Peart's relative began;
- Started asking her questions, if Rush members are nice and she didn't want to respond;
- Started asking her about their attitude about Poland and she confirmed that;
- Started joking about my country of Poland in front of her, thinking I might impress her, as everybody hates Poland;
- She instead of laughing thought I'm "sick in the head", but I had a typical Polish sense of humor;
- All of sudden, Rush fanbase lashed against me... but I was merely pushing back against trolls who hated Poland. I was even 16-18, when it happened;
- All of sudden older trolls who hated Polish Rush fans started reappearing;
- I didn't know why some lashed out against Polish fans, but I presume some were wronged by them;
- They started spreading rumours against me, because I was exactly, lashing out against my cyberbullied from 2016-2020;
- I'm starting to wonder:
WHAT MADE RUSH PERFORM IN POLAND, IF THEY DISLIKE POLAND SO MUCH FOR ALLEGED ANTISEMITISM OF ALL OF US????
GERMANS WERE TO BLAME FOR WORLD WAR II! AND IRONICALLY THEY PLAY WITH A GERMAN (who is a woman and admittedly a good musician);
- Nothing, I will forever remember Rush fanbase as community that enabled my cyberbullying, because I'm a woman and from Poland.
