I thought I'm gonna post it, after Cherie Currie (almost like Marie Curie) vs Geddy Lee feud. I prefer thinking those are mere rumours, but I gotta tell you a scary story:
Geddy Lee literally blocked me on Instagram (my IG account: olganest2112).
Reason? I refused to pay him 200$ and back then 100$.
This story is absolutely true and I'm still processing what exactly happened.
So here is the story:
I was absolutely disheartened by the fact Rush never performed in Poland, there were for so long rumors from my fellow Polish Rush fans about Geddy Lee hating Poland and later on Geddy Lee went on his historical rants about how Poland badly treated Jews on My Effin' Life (which I will review later, as a disappointed Rush fan and I will on top of that, consider both sides of the story, as I don't think Poles were the most saint people), pages 45, 46, 73, 80, instead of finding something positive about my country, like he did with Germany, a country where he performed in so many times and where Jews were killed and which invaded Poland and I was quite bored with my CS studies, as I found the atmosphere pretty unfriendly and I couldn't open the window even. So I decided to scambait certain accounts that pretend to be Geddy and Alex. And because Geddy Lee is of Polish heritage from his parents' side, the choice fell into Geddy Lee.
If anybody has any questions about it, I documented it on my YT channel called "@olganesterowicz", which you can find easily there.
But let me tell you how the conversation looked like:
At first it was pretty nice, the account acted like real Geddy (because it was real Geddy most probably), I talked to him about his bass strings, his music, his technique etc. and he praised me for my immaculate musical taste, which was again, documented by my YT channel. I was pretty satisfied to get to know Geddy Lee at least on the internet. But later he told me somewhat arrogantly "Poland did many wrong things to my parents" and I got disappointed by him. I wished to meet Rush personally and that was the big disappointment. Later on November 2023 it turned out that Geddy Lee had the same opinion on Poland like he did in front of me.
He then set himself to prove it's that gmail of his is his real account, he managed to log into his real "geddyimages" account.
Later Geddy told me, in order to meet him, I would have to pay 200$ dollars, which he reduced into 100$ and then he returned to 200$. I was so angry, because I posted in front of Geddy Lee my music, I told him I was a multi-instrumentalist and he treated me this way. So I trolled Geddy Lee into oblivion and for so long I refused to pay him. He blocked me in the beginning of July 2024 after I told him "you need to learn how to play Precision Bass (like Burke Shelley of Budgie did it) and then I will pay you".
Quite frankly, I still hope it was a hacker's job that thing with logging into "geddyimages", but sadly it probably was Geddy and his management trying to scam me. Meg Symsyk and Howard Ungerleider know about this situation all too well and also blocked me without a word.
I talked to Donna Halper and she is still confused about the whole situation.
Conclusion:  I WANT TO MEET REMAINING RUSH MEMBERS - GEDDY AND ALEX SO THAT I WILL GET TO KNOW WHO ARE THEY AS PEOPLE! I'M TIRED OF READING ACCUSATIONS IE. MADE BY CHERIE CURRIE AGAINST RUSH.
I WISH SOMEBODY CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THIS!

Geddy Lee's July 29th birthday is coming. I might be too embarrassed to wish him anything good in life, because of this experience. All because of my attempts to scambait like a real bored person.

Pomyślałam sobie, że napiszę o tym, po tym, jak Cherie Currie (jak Maria Skłodowska-Curie, prawie) i Geddy Lee się wzajemnie skonfliktowali. Wolę, żeby to były plotki, ale coś okropnego mi się przydarzyło:
Geddy Lee dosłownie zablokował mnie na Instagramie (moje instagramowe konto: olganest2112).
Powód? Nie chciałam mu zapłacić 200$ i jeszcze wcześniej 100$.
Ta historia jest niestety prawdziwa i próbuję się domyślać, co się naprawdę stało.
Tak więc, oto cała historia:
Byłam mocno rozczarowana faktem, iż Rush nigdy nie wystąpił w Polsce, tym, że były plotki o Geddym Lee, że on w ogóle to nienawidził Polski, Polaków i polskich fanów Rush i następnie Geddy Lee zaczął swoje historyczne wynurzenia odnośnie tego, jak Polacy źle traktowali Żydów w My Effin' Life, na stronach 45, 46, 73, 80 (którą to książkę potem zrecenzuję, a także uwzględnię historię obu stron, gdyż nie myślę, iż Polacy byli święci), zamiast znaleźć jakieś pozytywne strony własnej wizyty w Polsce, które on znalazł podczas wizyty w Niemczech, kraju, który na pewno skrzywdził jego rodzinę no I studia informatyczne mnie nużyły, niefajna atmosfera tam jest i nie można nawet otworzyć okien. Więc ja postanowiłam zrobić zarzutkę wobec tych oszukańczych kont podszywających się pod Geddy'ego lub Alexa. Dlatego, że Geddy Lee ma polskie korzenie ze strony jego rodziców, wybór padł na niego.
Jeśli ktokolwiek zapyta o to wydarzenie, zawsze może wejść na moje konto "@olganesterowicz" na YT.
Ale pozwólcie, że powiem jak to wszystko wyglądało:
Jak na pierwszy raz, była całkiem w porządku, Geddy przez Internet zdawał się zachowywać jak normalny Geddy, pogadałam z nim o muzyce, o strunach na gitarze basowej, o jego muzyce, o jego technice, chwalił mnie za świetny gust muzyczny, i to wszystko jeszcze raz, było udokumentowane na moim profilu jutubowym. Byłam całkiem usatysfakcjonowana, wiedząc o tym, że spotkałam idola w Internecie. Lecz niestety następnie powiedział mi arogancko: "Polska skrzywdziła moich rodziców" i się nim rozczarowałam. Chciałam poznać przynajmniej żyjących członków Rush osobiście i to mnie rozczarowało!
Następnie Listopada 2023 otrzymałam książkę "My Effin' Life" i przeczytałam w zupełności to samo, o czym Geddy przez Internet mi mówił.
Później Geddy'ego konto na Gmailu, dziwnym trafem zalogowało się na "geddyimages", żeby udowodnić mi, że to faktycznie on do mnie pisał.
Następnie on zażądał ode mnie najpierw 100$, potem 200$. Bardzo wściekła byłam, gdyż wstawiłam dla niego nawet skomponowaną przeze mnie muzykę, mówiłam, że jestem multi-instrumentalistką, a on mnie tak potraktował. No to go strollowałam do szpiku kości, aż mnie zablokował, bo powiedziałam mu "naucz się grać na Precision Bassie, (jak Burke Shelley z Budgie to robił), a wtedy pogadamy".
Tak szczerze, nadal mam nadzieję, że taka chryja była ukartowana przez hakera, który jakoś się dostał na instagramowe konto Geddy'ego, ale chyba, niestety to był management Geddy'ego, ze względu na to, że Meg Symsyk i Howard Ungerleider chyba za bardzo znają tę sytuację i zablokowali mnie bez słowa.
Rozmawiałam z promotorką Rush w latach 70 - Donną Halper o tym i ona też nie wie, co począć z tym.
