Dear Rush, as well as other progressive rock bands!
As a Rush fan, I can't pretend that everything is OK and I can listen to every single rock band that was silent about anti-female persecution or at least participated in it.
Rush members... Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson... instead of hiring fans who target feminist women who speak out, when there are even milder forms of violence against women, targeting your female fans who want transparency, call out many of your fellow men for being evil anti-female criminals.
I see you won't... that sort of alienates me from you...
Knowing how you excluded female fans (The Runaways bullying case, 7 females in the row, must be some kind of a world record" or allowing men to bully women, who are genuinely Rush fans").
I know that you have bullied other women, yet I won't speak out about them, because I am not sure if those aren't fake accusations. There is a place to change... I don't believe you are like all evil criminal men, you are what I considered to be good men, but please... not all women are gonna be privileged like Anika, whom you have as a drummer (to redeem your image as a "women-friendly band)? Well, I guess Germans have a right to redempt and Poles are considered dogmatically evil people. Even though -- POLISH WOMEN SUFFERED AS WELL FROM OCCUPATIONS FROM GERMAN NAZIS AND SOVIET RUSSIANS, MEANING MY ANCESTOR WOMEN WERE RAPED BY THOSE FILTHY MALES FROM THOSE SIDES!
As I listened to many progressive rock bands, they were progressive, except when it comes to women's rights... Yes, Genesis, VDGG, King Crimson, Supertramp.... some preferred shifting the focus to other things to be activist about, than talking about women... I'd like to see them speaking out about plight of women....
I'm called a bad woman, just because I wanted Rush in Poland (perhaps I also wanted Rush with Neil Peart, but I have to be satisfied with what I have and cherish it), yet 62 million men and more, who knowingly victimize women AREN'T CALLED OUT ENOUGH, DESPITE THE FACT THAT CELEBRITIES ARE CONSTANTLY VIRTUE SIGNALLING!
Despite Epstein files, I hear no voice that feels bad for women.
As for Rush, I only saw how you derided The Runaways "for being sh*tty musicians", no empathy... no empathy...
And Geddy Lee claims to love fishy men like Woody Allen, Louis CK, all, who had history of knowingly degrading women and as a female comedian he elected Amy Schumer? She looks like she hates her biological gender in the way she cracks jokes!
Just like most of you didn't have any empathy (and probably still don't have) for Poles, who suffered badly during the WWII and communism.
Did I have to crack dark jokes, so you notice how women are suffering? How Polish people were suffering? You wouldn't be educated, so I had to crack jokes in the style of Gilbert Gottfried.
I know how badly I was trolled by the same misogynists, anti-Poles, who wanted to deny me rights to be happy, as a woman, as a Pole, who wanted to deny me rights to SEE RUSH LIVE IN POLAND etc.
PLEASE, SPEAK OUT, I NEED YOUR VOICE ABOUT THIS!
Stop thinking I'm a problem. The whole Hollywood and Music Industry ARE A PROBLEM, because of the way they BADLY TREAT WOMEN!
Your performance in Poland might not be satisfying, unless you speak out in solidarity with victimized women and children!
